Firm located in Wisconsin is currently seeking a Mobile
Application Developer. This position is located in the
Milwaukee area and is a perm position with our client.
 
The Mobile Application Developer position is experienced
in N-Tier application architecture and development with a
passion for creating innovative, robust applications for
Mobile and Web-based systems. This role is a key member of
the team responsible for designing, developing, implementing
and maintaining  mobile platforms.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Contribute to the project's success by creating smart,
 maintainable code
 
Manage the deployment of applications from dev to staging
to production
Ensure that smart, maintainable code is being generated 
Implement innovative approaches to daily coding and testing
challenges 
Work with the Development Manager and other developers to
determine priorities and to delegate where appropriate
 
Work with the project manager to ensure that timelines
and deliverables are on-track
Participate in testing and QA sessions to minimize defects 
Assist with the deployment of applications from dev to
staging 

Required Technical Skills:
 
Experience developing mobile messaging (SMS), mobile, WAP
and Web-based applications
 
1+ years of experience developing systems for Mobile phones
and SMS platforms
 
Experience designing and implementing N-Tier applications
using PHP, Python, JAVA and/or .NET 

Experience with SQL and relational database architecture
and development (MySQL)
 
Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments

Experience with Apache, MySQL
 
Strong knowledge of Internet technologies and languages
(HTTP, HTML, DHTML, Javascript) 

Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
and design principles
Expertise with integrated source control solutions like VSS
or Subversion

Ability to work under and meet deadlines

Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques used
in application design and development
 
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
 
Design, develop, test, implement, modify, document, and
maintain applications in a team environment

Adhere to standards of application systems analysis,
programming and procedures
 
Adhere to policies and procedures for modifying information
systems
 
Comply with policies, procedures and controls related to
Sarbanes-Oxley or other regulatory frameworks

Follow procedures and policies related to client security
and data protection standards
 
Other duties as assigned
 
Educational/Experience Requirements:
 
Must have at least 1 to 2 years of experience developing
Mobile programs and/or Mobile messaging platforms

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or
equivalent experience

At least 1 years of experience working in a team environment
creating applications for Mobile and Web

1 +  years of web development experience with and a
Bachelor's degree.
