Team/Project Description
The ASP (Application Service Provider) Managed Services
Team is a team comprised of individuals from Technology
Services and Healthcare IT. The team's goal is to
deliver products to customers in an ASP / application
hosting model leveraging standard Global IT technologies
and processes. Will be working within the eHealth
Platform.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Maintain the project plan and tasks for multiple ASP
projects at any given time.
* Will coordinate all required tasks and timelines, and
break these tasks into detailed requirements and subtasks,
to ensure that required environments are delivered to
customers and business partners on time.
* This person will work closely with an aligned ASP
Technology Initiatives Leader/Program Manager to ensure
that every step needed is planned for, executed, and
resourced in an appropriate timeframe.
* Expected to follow all Compliance guidelines and assist
in drafting and reviewing any required quality or project-
related documents related to deliverables.
Examples of responsibilities may include:
* Define and regularly update detailed project plan(s)
using MS Project/OpenProj and ITG Project Management tools
* Integrate deliverables into larger ASP timelines
* Manage project timeline, scope, and deliverables
* Execute on defined tasks
* Manage, communicate, and mitigate all risks
* Facilitate internal and external communication, including
operating mechanisms and written communication. This
includes reporting regularly to ASP Technology Initiatives
Leader/Program Manager and ASP team leadership
* Document processes and details in required templates,
formats, and tools
Required Skills:
* Must have infrastructure experience working within an
Application Service Provider type environment.
* Must have experience providing documentation for all
deliverables, focusing on quality and/or compliance issues.
* Proven experience in project management - minimum of two
years employment experience in an IT project management
role
* Working knowledge of MS Project/Open Office, MS
PowerPoint, and MS Word
* Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication,
and organizational skills
* Understanding of IT processes, including familiarity with
IT terminology and standards
* Self-motivated and able to multi task and manage own time
in a fast paced and changing environment
* Ability to leverage resources to seek, find, and filter
relevant information.
Desired (in order)
* PMP Certified
* Familiar with GE culture, tools, and Quality Management
System (QMS) - eNPI, myWorkshop (MatrixOne), ITG
application experience
* Working knowledge of ITG Project Management suite
* Familiarity/Experience with ASP concepts/solutions
