Position Summary: Under general supervision, responsible
 for the delivery of information assets in support of
 business intelligence and reporting in order to support
 business decisions. Assignments are varied in nature but
 will include: software administration, data mining,
 forecasting, decision support, data analysis, market
 research, business intelligence development, documentation
 and responding to customer needs. Working with business
 managers and users, assists in iterative designing and
 implementing highly useable reports and interfaces for
 effective decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:
 
1.Work closely with other IT business intelligence analysts
 and IT enterprise architects to implement business
 intelligence and reporting solutions that meets the needs
 of the internal or external customers

2.Utilize SAS extract, transform and load software systems
 to provide integrated solutions and useful information for
 business intelligence solutions

3.Work with other IT resources to identify the sources of
 operational data for a solution that supports business
 decisions

4.Design and execute systems test plans to ensure fail safe
 integration of a program into a production environment

5.Translate basic business reporting needs into
 requirements, specifications, and deliverables

6.Develop product manufacturing knowledge and business
 relationships

7.Create or revise system documentation in accordance with IT standards and procedures
8.Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Job Skills Requirements:

*Development experience on UNIX OS

*Solid knowledge of the SAS platform including Base SAS,
 SAS EG, administration of the SAS Web Portal

*Knownledge of SAS Information Delivery Portal

*Solid knowledge in the full life cycle of the development
 process, including requirements definition, prototyping,
 programming, testing and implementation

*Developing project management skills

*Solid written and verbal communication skills to explain
 technical needs and problems

*Ability to sort through ambiguous customer requirements
 and translate them into technical requirements

*Solid time management and organizing skills necessary to
 prioritize and manage multiple assignments and priorities

*Good analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving
 skills


Education Requirements:

*Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business
 Administration or equivalent or equivalent work experience


Experience Requirements:

*Minimum of three years of applied experience with data
 analysis required

*Data Warehouse experience a plus
