accepting resumes for a Technician 2 position to provide
offshift/weekend support in both Client Server and
mainframe applications. Multi-platform support for the
following programs: KIDS, CARES, Tax, SUITES, CRES, WISARD,
Benefits and WC.
Ability to perform the following:
• Use JEM and JScan Utilities.
• Setup restarts including test procs in Control-M.
• Install and restart abended Changeman packages.
• Resolve JCL errors including but not limited to
sequential or MOD dataset space problems.
• Use of TSO/ISPF commands in mainframe HOD.
• Perform CPS client/Server moves.
• Open detailed problem tickets using TIVOLI.
• After hours Service Desk level 1-2 support and logging
TPMs.
• Support Oracle database applications and production
database operations.
• Advanced level knowledge of the KIDS and CARES
applications.
• Support CARES Control-M/Server jobs.
• Resolve and restart Client/Server jobs using the Argent
Job Scheduler.
• Support Network backups, restores and related tasks on
client/server and mid-range computer systems, using
software such as Veritas Netbackup and Omniback data
Protector Manager.
• Schedule and submit mainframe production batch
jobs/systems.
• Support for the Interactive Response Units using UNIX.
• Professional oral and written communication with
programmers, clients, managers, and co-workers.
